Introduction to South Metro Scoop
In this debut episode, Brady Greenbush introduces himself and the South Metro Scoop — what it is, how it started, and what you can expect going forward.
What is the South Metro Scoop?
The South Metro Scoop originally started as a local email newsletter focused on Lakeville, with a separate one for Hastings. After seeing strong growth in both, Brady merged them together to cover the entire south metro area — from Hastings in the east to Shakopee in the west.
It's a weekly email newsletter that goes out to local residents, business owners, and people considering moving into the south metro. The main focus is being your calendar for the cool stuff happening here in the south metro, so you don't have to rely on what's going on in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
The South Metro Scoop also covers notable community news like new businesses and city council announcements, plus Instagram and Facebook content including videos and posts.
About Brady
Brady works at a digital marketing firm based in Lakeville that serves south metro businesses as well as businesses across the US — mostly accountants, CPAs, and contractors. His primary focus is Google Ads, Facebook Ads, website copywriting, and web design.
Originally from the Lakeville-Rosemount area, Brady currently lives in Hastings, giving him roots all over the south metro. He started the Scoop because he always found it hard to find local events without being part of a million Facebook groups.
