Apple Valley Eco Advocates
Our mission is to advocate for sustainability in our community to meet the needs of the present without compromising future generations. This group is for Apple Valley residents who are concerned about climate change and value our natural environment. Our goal is to promote best practices for environmental stewardship in our city government, facilities, parks, businesses and homes. This is a place to share information and action opportunities on environment-related projects, issues and events in our community.
Lakeville Friends of the Environment
Lakeville Friends of the Environment is a community group focused on connecting residents with nature and environmental causes. They organize nature connections, community clean ups, and tours of Lakeville to foster involvement in conservation and sustainability efforts. Their guiding principle: "We don't inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children." Programs include: - Nature Connections - Community Clean Ups - Tour of Lakeville
South Of The River Endurance Club - SOTREC
We are a community of swimmers, cyclists, runners of all levels of ability that supports and encourages each other to be the best that we can be! This is a free group supported solely by its members! We are located in the South Metro of Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota. We encourage all to use this page to positively communicate group meet ups, events, advice, tips, and all things related to swimming, cycling, running and anything in between! SOTREC Schedule- Winter 2026 (January-March) Tuesday: Fun Walk/Run- 5:30pm Multiple locations each week. Check schedule posted each week. Thursday: Group Trail Run/Hike- 5:30pm Jensen Lake Trailhead- Lebanon Hills Regional Park 1350 Carriage Hills Drive. Eagan, MN 55123 Saturday: Supported Long Run/Walk/Hike: 8:00am Location varies each week. Location is posted on Monday, with details of route, etc. by Friday morning each week.
