South Metro Pickleball Courts | Where to Play Year-Round Near You | South Metro Scoop
If you've been struggling to find consistent pickleball court time especially during Minnesota's brutal winters there's good news for South Metro residents.
Pickle in the Middle just opened their third location right here in Lakeville, bringing 24/7 access to climate-controlled courts to our community.
Here's what you need to know about this new facility and why it's becoming the go-to spot for pickleball players of all skill levels.
What Is Pickle in the Middle?
Pickle in the Middle is Minnesota's premier indoor pickleball facility, now operating three locations across the metro: Brooklyn Park, Woodbury, and brand-new Lakeville. Each facility offers climate-controlled courts that stay comfortable year-round.
No more weather cancellations or freezing outdoor courts.
The Lakeville location sits at 21300 Juniper Way, Suite 400 (right off Juniper and Cedar), featuring multiple courts available for rent by the hour, league play, and organized events.
How the 24/7 Access Actually Works
One of the biggest differentiators? True 24-hour access. Here's how it works:
- Create your free account on the CourtReserve app or website (takes about 2 minutes)
- Book your court time through the app—choose your date, time, and court
- Receive your unique PIN code via email confirmation
- Show up and play anytime—the secure door code lets you in even when staff isn't on-site

Court Pricing: Peak vs. Non-Peak
Pickle in the Middle uses a simple two-tier pricing structure based on demand (this is subject to change):
Non-Peak Times: $28/hour
- Weekdays: 11:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Weekends: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Peak Times: $38/hour
- Weekdays: 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Weekends: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
All prices are per court per hour and include tax. Split it between four players and you're looking at $7-$9.50 per person for an hour of play—about what you'd pay for a decent coffee drink.
